Lisa Miller

Educated in Fine Art and Art History at Bucknell University, where she received the Edith Fetherston Award for her work as a printmaker and at the School of Visual Arts where she studied graphic arts, Lisa Miller has explored many media. She has worked as a Graphic Designer in New York City for several companies including Union Carbide, Merrill Lynch and Mondello Associates and in recent years has devoted herself to the art of Watercolor.
In the last few years she has had seven solo shows in Bergen County and participated in juried shows in New Jersey and London. She became a member of Piermont in 2009 and has also shown her work at the Opus One Gallery in Ridgewood, Hartgers Interiors in Wyckoff and Arielle’s Gallery in Englewood.
Lisa also teaches watercolor at the Stable in Ridgewood and does commission House Portraits. Her work is in many private collections on the east coast and abroad.
May 2010 - New Jersey Water Color Society presents Lisa with an “Award for Excellence” at their Associate Members Show in the Morris County Library, Whippany, NJ
October 2010 - Accepted to the New Jersey Water Color Society annual juried show and received the Associate Member Award.
