Janet Pirozzi Riolo
I am an artist who works in colored pencils and acrylic paint.
I earned my art degree from the Fashion Institute of Technology. Early in my career, during the 80’s & 90’s, I worked for many years designing screen prints and illustration work in the New York City garment district. With my background in fashion, I always draw upon and incorporate color, patterns and style in my work. Whether working in actual realism or stylized realism, fashion is always a part of my art.
I am currently on the board, and was past President, of The Nyack Art Collective. You can see a lot of my artwork in many of the local establishments and galleries in Nyack and around Rockland County.
