Rik studied photography at the Philadelphia College of Art and has been photographing professionally for magazines and websites for the past 35 years. And while he focused mainly on travel, cars, and product photography, his first love has always been the kind of fine-art nature, landscape, and wildlife imagery you see here.
Rik travels have taken him to more than 25 countries, ranging from exotic destinations like Japan, China, Morocco, and Borneo to the colder realms of Patagonia, Iceland, Lapland, and Antarctica. In recent years, however, he has increasingly explored the hidden gems of New York’s Lower Hudson Valley, where he lives.
